I had such a great time with the kids in music as they sang, played instruments, and danced in the musical Halloween Forest!

Music Centres with Room 9!

Grade 3-5 students have just finished a big unit on rhythm! They have begun music centres where they get to apply their new knowledge to games and activities. This is a great chance for me to see what they know! Hopefully they are having a bit of fun while practicing their new rhythms! Great job and keep up the great work room 9! 

October News

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

The Grade 3-5 Choir is sounding amazing so far! We have lots of students in choir which is fabulous to see! Just a reminder that all choir members need to come to every rehearsal on Day 3 at lunch! See you next week on Thursday!

The Grade 1-2 Choir will be starting next week! Students that are interested in joining need to attend the first rehearsal at lunch on DAY 1. See you on Tuesday, Oct. 13!

The music room has been busy and fun so far! Thank you to all staff and students for such an amazing first month of school! I feel like a part of the Athlone family already! I will be sure to keep you posted with upcoming events on our music room blog.
